Pongour Waterfall 1 Day Tour

Start time: 08:30AM ✦ Finish time: 04:00 – 4:30 PM

Place to visit: Robin Hill, Truc Lam Zen Monastery, Tuyen Lam Lake, the making paper rice, Chicken Village, Pongour waterfall, the incense making stall or mushroom farm.

In the morning, You can enjoy airy space at RoBin Hill, Dalat Cable Car Station to get the panorama view of the Dalat City and enjoy the marvelous sight of the pine forested valley stretched down to the South. After taking some photos of this, an option to take the cable car descending down 300 meters with the nice view of flower, vegetable fields dotted in the pine forested valley below to visit to Tuyen Lam Lake. Surrounding by pine forest, Tuyen Lam Lake looks like a paradise with the Truc Lam Zen Monastery, at present is the biggest Zen University in Viet Nam. Please dress decently, a very quiet scenery beside it’s beautiful flower garden, which is built on the top of Phoenix Hill. Keep driving southward, stop over at Phu Hoi commune to learn about the making paper rice (Depend on the season).

After an hour for lunch (Picnic lunch with fruits, cheese and baguette should be prepared in advance or lunch at the local restaurant on the way), We continue our trip to Chicken Village of the K’Ho ethnic people residing at the base of Elephant Mountain where indigenous gong culture has been maintained by generations. Walk around the village to see their vegetable, flower farms, traditional wooden houses and beautiful weaving products. Leave the village for Pongour waterfall 50 km from Dalat city, one of the biggest falls of the central highlands. Taking photos and enjoy the wild nature around the falls area. Visit incense making stall or mushroom farm in the thatched house then back to Dalat.
