Day 1

Trekking

Hanoi/ Ninh Binh - Cuc Phuong national park (L, D)

8.00 - 8.30 Our guide and driver pick you up in Ninh Binh at your Hotel (7:00 am if pick-up from Hanoi by Limousine) then depart for Cuc Phuong National Park through beautiful countryside roads.

11.30 Arrive at Park centre, here a local guide will meet you and take you for a -17km- hike to the primary forest.

Lunch: picnic in the primary forest

Depending on how fast you go, you will arrive at the end of the afternoon at the homestay. If you have time, you can explore the village and surrounding area.

18.00 Dinner at the homestay, spend the evening with the family.

09.00 Arrive at Cuc Phuong national Park, visit Endangered Primate Recue centre, about 30 minutes, visit Turtle Conservation Program, 45 minutes.

12.00 lunch in local restaurant

13.00 Visit Nguoi Xua cave, the “Cave of Prehistoric Man”.In 1996 graves and tools were excavated here dating back 7500 years ,aking it one of the oldest siters of human habitation in Vietnam.

14.30 Return to Tam Coc village/ Hanoi
