Dragon Bay is a traditional wooden boat, its elegant shape makes it one of the most beautiful boat for day trip excursion on Halong Bay. In the old time, Halong Bay is a fishing area with many wooden boat sailing around, Dragon Bay recalls the memory of a traditional sailing boat among thousand limestone islands to take you to the majestic land of sea and stone.

Being a small size boat to accommodate maximum group of 12 persons joining or hire a private boat, Dragon Bay delivers a well catered experience to every single guests on cruising and exploring Halong Bay. With a limited time cruising the bay, we treasure every minutes of your time onboard to treat you in high service level and warm caring at details.

Facility on Dragon Bay boat is also another highlight that we promise to deliver it to our guests. Most of day cruise boats on Halong Bay provides visitors with a limited basic space of dining tables and outside decks but Dragon bay has more than that. The traditional boat features both a spacious outdoor dining area on the second floor and a warm indoor restaurant, added by second floor sundeck for the best bay view, relaxing lounge, cabins, other functional area (fully equipped bathroom, luggage area…) and a cozy spa to serve you in comfort.

The boat is well designed and can accommodate even for an overnight cruise trip. Thus, just in a day excursion, its facility and service must fulfill all of your needs.

Day 1

Cruise

Hanoi - Halong Bay - Bai Tu Long Bay (L, D)

7.30 – 8.00 Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter area.

12.00 – 12.30 Embark at Halong cruise port.

12.30 – 13.00 Check-in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing.

13.30 – 15.00 Have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; admire the fascinating formations.

15.00 – 16.30 Cruise to Cap La, Tra San.

16.30 – 17.30 Enjoy paddling around Cap La and Tra San by kayak.

17.45 – 19.00 Back to junk for swimming or relaxing.

19.00 – 21.00 Have dinner and overnight on board in Cong Do area.

Day 2

Cruise

Cap La - Cong Dam - Thien Canh Son cave (B, L, D)

07.30 – 08.00 Morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air.

08.00 – 10.00 Cruise to Cong Dam while discovering geological values of Bai Tu Long Bay.

10.00 Enjoy kayaking through the hidden lagoons and geological park in Cong Dam

12.00 Have BBQ lunch on a wild beach

13:30 Back to junk for relaxing while cruising to Cong Do area.

16:30 Arrive at Hon Co Island to explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son cave

17:30 Return to the boat and cruise back to Cap La

19:00 Have dinner and overnight onboard

Day 3

Cruise

Vung Vieng Fishing Village - Bai Tu Long Bay - Hanoi (B, L)

06:45 Have breakfast on board while cruising to Vung Ha area

08:00 Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat.

10.00 Check out of the cabin. Start cruising towards the port while an A la carte lunch is served.

11:30 – 12.00 Disembark. Drive to Yen Duc village.

13.15 – 14.00 Enjoy water puppet show performed by local artists.

16.15 – 16.45 Arrive in Hanoi. Trip ends.

Cancellation by Customer:

  • More than 10 days prior to check-in: 10% of total rates
  • From 10 to 7 days prior to check-in: 25% of total rates
  • From 6 to 2 days prior to check-in: 50% of total rates
  • Less than 48 hours prior to check-in: 100% of total rates
  • No-Show: 100% of total rates

Cancellation due to bad weather:

If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:

  • Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
  • During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
  • The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
